Saturday 11 and Sun 12 March . Log Hive making Course with Matt Somerville of the Natural Beekeeping Trust . Venue Tangley north of Andover Hants. Visitors welcome to watch and 'have a go'.

10 June: Skep Making workshop at Nutley Farm, Broughton SO20. John Haverson will be available to assist new skepists.
Saturday 1st July Group Meeting in Twyford south of Winchester hosted by Steve Strange at his meadow with large box hives and yurts.

Saturday and Sunday 7/8 October ' Listen to the Bees' is a beekeeping course on an alternative method of beekeeping using the Warré hive, guided by the biology and natural behaviour of the honeybee. For details see:
This bee-centric approach is non-intrusive, low intensity and little work; it reduces stress on Bees and beekeepers to mutual benefit. Non-treated colonies can adapt to varroa, live in harmony with people and provide a modest honey harvest.
