April 2019

Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th April - 'Listen to the Bees' is a beekeeping course on an alternative method of beekeeping  using the Warré hive, guided by the biology and natural behaviour of the honeybee.
This bee-centric approach is non-intrusive, low intensity and little work; it reduces stress on Bees and beekeepers to mutual benefit.  Non-treated colonies can adapt to varroa, live in harmony with people and provide a modest honey harvest.
The venue will be at St Peter's Church Hall,  Over Wallop, Stockbridge Hants SO20  8HT
The main tutor will be John Haverson assisted by Eleanor Coke.  For further information contact Chris Haverson at cmhaverson@hotmail.co.uk
